Many of you are finished with exams or taking vacation but will no doubt spend endless extra hours (at the damn airport) in front of your computer, refreshing various online networking portals. Or that could be just me! Well I say read The Trials of Saint Christopher by talented cartoonist Colleen Frakes, one of my favorite cartoonists and people! From Tragic Relief to Woman King to Basket Ogress, Colleen shows her storytelling verisimilitude and she can bang out a page like nobody’s business. I’m also a sucker for excellent fables.
For the month of November, known to some as National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo, Colleen decided to create the equivalent for comics National Graphic Novel Writing Month heretofore known as NaGraNoWriMo. She wrote and illustrated a 100 page comic within the month and The Trials of Saint Christopher is a must read!
